Hi, this is Ahren Griego. I am a lifelong resident of Albuquerque’s West Side and retired Albuquerque Fire Department Captain. I want to represent you on Albuquerque’s City Council. The West Side needs a leader with real-life experience to clean up our streets. Will you sign my petition to get on the ballot and chip in $5 to help me qualify for public financing?

Meet Ahren

A husband, father, public safety servant, and community youth organizer dedicated to providing a free athletic program.

Educated at John Adams Middle School and West Mesa High School, I have spent my career serving.

Over 23 years of service with the Albuquerque Fire Department, retiring as Captain and Station Commander. We work closely with our police officers to keep our streets safe.

My wife, Meredith, and our adult children, Ahren, Joshua, and Gabriella, all live in this community. We are proud of their accomplishments, professional public servants working with our communities, youth, and our daughter, a recent UNM graduate.

We face rising crime, a lack of affordable housing, youth violence, and homelessness.

It's time to lead with experience and GET THE JOB DONE.

Thank you so much for your support and endorsements. Your encouragement means a great deal to me and plays a vital role in our campaign’s success. Together, we can make a real difference for Albuquerque!

With gratitude, Ahren
